Tor is a tone shaping pedal that recreates every nuance of an OC44 Germanium Treble Booster using Silicon transistors, including the frequency, transient, and harmonic response of the original. This gives you the best of both worlds, the stability of Silicon and the tone of Germanium. Tor introduces soft clipping distortion and a subtle compression effect to the high frequencies which sounds fantastic with the Bass control dialled down to taste. The input impedance is authentic to the original which gives your guitar a slightly less strident and more rounded tone.
The carefully designed Treble Cut control can be used to accurately mimic a darker sounding transistor like the OC71 or AC128, simply lower the control to taste.
The Mid Boost control varies between +0dB to +12dB and the selectable frequencies are 2.1kHz, 900Hz, and 450Hz which gives you access to some classic cocked wah tones.
The white dots (position markers) on the enclosure indicate the correct setting to achieve a neutral or flat EQ.
