No ICs are used in the audio path, only transistors and passive circuitry to best preserve the tonality and dynamics of your guitar.

Leoma is a studio quality diode compressor with an Attack Switch (5ms, 15ms), passive EQ, and soft clipping Transient control. The automatic two stage release takes inspiration from the sound of the 1176 compressor, but has been carefully modified to ensure perfect results with any guitar and pickup combination. The Attack Switch, when set to 15ms, provides surpassingly natural compression for humbuckers, single coils, and bass, and at 5ms can produce a more heavily slammed response, great for mono drum tracks. The Transient control, when set to the midway position, gently soft clips the signal and adds harmonics, giving an enhanced sense of clarity, and at further counterclockwise settings, can more aggressively clip the loudest peaks.

The internal 9V to 25V conversion provides enough headroom for any input signal including +4 dBu Line Level, and allows Leoma to maintain its high frequency response even under heavy compression. With meticulously designed Bass and Treble controls, a ratio of 6:1, and a wonderfully natural sound, it's such a great all-round compressor you'll never want to turn it off.

The white dots (position markers) on the enclosure indicate the correct setting to achieve a neutral or flat EQ.
